In a Wednesday, May 11, webinar, two Safe Passage committee members join a national panel of experts to explore the role of data and data collection tools in identifying ideal locations for wildlife infrastructure in the region.
“You Can’t Fix What You Can’t Measure: The Fundamental Role of Good Data in Successful Wildlife Crossing Projects” is the second webinar in the larger “Demystifying Wildlife Crossing Infrastructure Projects” series, created to raise awareness about wildlife infrastructure, as well as the new opportunities made possible by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Each webinar is designed to stand on its own and covers a unique topic related to the theme.
Speakers in the May 11 event include Safe Passage members Liz Hillard of Wildlands Network, and Jeff Hunter of National Parks Conservation Association, along with Liz Fairbank of the Center for Large Landscape Conservation and Jens Hawkins-Hilke of the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.
The webinar series is a project of ARC Solutions, the Center for Large Landscape Conservation, the National Parks Conservation Association, and Wildlands Network.
